Steve is Alberta-born, Calgary-raised, and resides in the community of Highwood with his wife and son. He loves his job, but is happiest chasing a soccer ball or hiking somewhere hard to get to. With a background in science, he started in the industry in 2006, project managing with a mid-sized multifamily builder. He started Steve Norris & Partners (SNAP) Building in 2016 and is currently collaborating with both Beacon High Performance Homes on highly sustainable retrofits and builds, and Plaid Shirt Building on multifamily infills - while engaging in green community building and education wherever possible.
